Privacy Policy
6Cubits handles personal data in line with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and good international practice, including the GDPR principles for visitors from the EU.
1. What we collect
- Contact and training forms: your name, work email, organisation, role, phone, sector, team size and message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Technical data: your IP address, kept briefly to block spam and repeated submissions.
The Digital Maturity Scan runs in your browser. Your answers stay on your device unless you choose to share your report with us.
2. Why we use it (lawful basis)
We use form details to answer your enquiry or training registration and to send the confirmation email you receive. We rely on your consent, given through the checkbox on each form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Newsletter emails are sent only if you subscribe, and every email lets you unsubscribe.
3. Where it is stored and who sees it
Submissions are stored on our web host (Namecheap, cPanel hosting) in a folder that is blocked from public access, and emailed to the 6Cubits team inbox. Only authorised 6Cubits staff can view them through a password-protected admin area. We do not sell or rent personal data.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries and registrations: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Anti-spam IP records: up to 10 minutes.
5. Third-party services
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Insights cards show cover images hosted by Medium, where our articles are also published. Videos load from YouTube only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Booking links open Google Calendar. Each service applies its own privacy policy.
6. Cookies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The admin area sets a session cookie for signed-in staff only. If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. You may also complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
